Connecting ebay with auctiva. Anything I need to know?
 

In a few days I will be connecting my ebay with an auctiva. I want my employees to start using this tool on a day to day basis for listing. So, they will have no business with ebay and I alone will ONLY login to ebay when necessary to accept offers, respond to messages and all those necessities.

Beside the don't click out to ebay through auctiva unless in a safe environment when using my dedicated IP. Is there any other rule of thumb I should know, specifically things that have to do with the DONT

Anyone using this? Do you see any specific benefit in the pro plan or I should just take the Elite plan

I believe 2 or more users can login to the same auctiva account from different computer. Is that right?

As per I know you need to create TOKEN for each account.

I havnt used it for some time, I have read a few people use it, but not heard any reputable members brag about it.

Inkfrog is used a lot.

Make sure whichever you use, when obtaining the token, you do it from the IP that account is linked with, to avoid cross-link / suspension.

I have now been connected for the past 2 to 3 days. So far. I still don't see how much relevant this is to me, maybe I am using it wrongly though. Aside from loading faster, please feel free to educate me on the key relevance of any third party tools.. Auctiva, Inkfrog or whatever you use.

These are my cons and pros. I will add more as I continue to test it.

CONS:
1. I think editing existing listing is pretty difficult.
2. Still trying to figure out how pretty it could be for printing label
3. 99% of my products are using existing images (where available) from ebay listings from other sellers. So, its not easy for me to work with Auctiva alone without login into ebay.


Pro:
1. Listing load pretty well
2. Can use it to create a stand alone store if you wish to sell outside of ebay optimised for search engine. Not sure if this store will still be active though when ebay suspend your account and end all your listing.
3. I am using the note to add internal reference to each products for my inventory management so it will be easier for my staff to pick and pack products. I previously do this with excel
4. My be pretty good for those who take their own photographs before listing so they dont have to login to ebay to create new listing.

The main benefit outweighing everything else would be 'not having to log in to ebay'. The less you login, the less information (IP) they collect, the less the risk of linking.

That is pretty much why people use such stuff, and compromise on the cons
