Paypal and CC validation process - I'm confused...
 

Hi All

Sorry, but I’m still struggling with the Paypal and CC validation process.

Steps:

• Create a new EntroPay CC account using my ‘real’ name and ‘real’ billing address – which I understand is what you must do for a CC i.e. don’t use stealth details for your CC.
  
• Create a new paypal account using my ‘stealth’ paypal name and ‘stealth’ paypal address.

I’m all fine with the above two steps, however, the text below – which I found online regards paypal and CC setup verification concerns me greatly as it appears that my CC and paypal name and address must be the same in order to successfully validate my CC?

Can anyone please confirm if this ability of paypal to electronically verify my CC address details is true or not?

Step 5
Check your PayPal billing address shown on the screen and make sure it matches the address registered to the credit card.

Step 6
Click the "Add Card" button. PayPal will electronically verify the billing address on file with the card company. If the addresses match, the card becomes linked to your PayPal account. You will be able to make payments on PayPal using the credit card as the funding source; however, you may not be able to transfer money to or from the card. Depending on the type of card, you may be able to lift those limits by going through PayPal's expanded use verification process.

Here is the simple answer....

You make the entropay account with your real ID using your own debit or credit card and fund that.

You then use funds from that to make your virtual card.

You use the numbers of THAT card with your stealth pay pal. No names, no address, just the numbers.

This method works.

Entropay transactions do not produce AVS data so they can be added to Paypal accounts under any address.

Entropay will bypass the address checks so it will add to PayPal regardless of the address used

So I think this is how it will work. Please correct me if I'm still not understanding it correctly.

Step 1
Open a new Entropay CC account

Q - What information does Entropay require in order to open a new CC account? My real name? My real registered billing address?

Step 2
I add money to my new Entropay CC account ether via a bank transfer or via another CC

Step 3
I add the new Entropay CC to my new stealth paypal account

Step 4
I validate the new Entropay CC in paypal

Q - When paypal conducts this validation for an ‘Entropay CC’ is paypal able to detect that my name and address used in paypal is not the same as the name and address used for the Entropay CC and reject the validation?

Step 5
Paypal sends the 4 digit validation code number to my stealth email account

Step 6
I enter the paypal 4 digit validation code number for the Entropay CC and the Entropay CC is validated successfully in paypal

Real name, real address

Paypal cannot see the name on the Entropay account. As for address, see the answers above.
