Adding tracking
 

Just wondering if adding tracking numbers automatically takes the hold down from 21 days to 7 - 10 days? Even if the account in question was very new

i've never used tracking numbers before, never saw the point as i dealt with such low cost items, but im thinking of venturing into some higher priced products and wanted to see the merits of tracking numbers.

It depends if the sale is directly though PayPal or from eBay

It used to be almost a given for funds to release.

However, I have noticed some sellers saying this is not happening every time.

interesting, i always thought that once tracking was added the hold time automatically went down to 7 -10 days if not less. Anyone else have any experience with this?

In the USA typically funds are released 3 days after delivery with tracking. If not 21 days.

i find best results on a new account to add tracking through paypal after buying paypal postage. I always print their label off don't press ok and on reprint i save as a file for my records in case of cock ups (by me LOL).

At one point adding tracking AND buying postage through PayPal would bring that number down to 3-5 days, usually 3 days.

Seems to be taking slightly longer.
