myhermese only pay for one collection tip for more than 1 parcel

myhermes only pay for one collection tip for more than 1 parcel

This is what i do ..

Say i have 10 parcels for my hermes i take the smallest weight with lowest shipping and pay for that parcel to be collected.
All the other 9 parcels i create as parcels to be dropped off at my nearest parcel shop.

When the myhermes driver arrives for my one parcel for which he is paid 50 pence or so to collect I ask can you take these other 9 parcels too. Yes he says glady because he will get 50 pence for the other 9 parcels and he scans them in job done.

Saving me 9 collection fees etc

Hey, you have to start somewhere- At least you are trying! Just look at what you are selling and see where you could save/make more money and research your market and products.
Don't be afraid to try new categories/products to test yourself- You never know how good you are at something until you try it!

But yea, harassing poor 'ol Hermes driver with your parcels is hilarious.

wait, but for the parcels that are supposed to go to shop, are you paying for the correct weights? cos they also do random weight checks at depot... and charge you a tenner if you are off-weight...

Aha abut I'm not harassing the driver he welcomes the 9 extra parcels and the £4.50 extra payment to him. He sees my extra parcels as easy money for him.

think about it he calls for one parcel and gets 50 pence only.

i offer him 9 more parcels and he gets total of £5 its an easy £4.50 extra for seconds work.

yes i pay the correct weight for each parcel.

by the way do you know if you get an overweight (by accident) complaint form myhermes they say they are holding the parcel but an insider told me they just let the parcel go through the process basically they don't have an infrastructure for holding a parcel.

I have had the tenner threat and told them i will
1) make a charge back on my credit card and get my money back for this distance purchase . (that law has changed to a new name now). The man hours in servicing that would cost them more than a tenner and they might not get their money back.

2) i'll pay a tenner for a subject access request for a legible copy of all my data going back a few years. this will cost them far far more than a tenner to process in man hours to comply with the ICO.

Basically they said they would over look and I must pay more attention next time.

try it your self . Instead of going to the shop with your my hermes stuff label and prices for the shop and any one of your parcel pay for pick up. when the pick up person comes said here are some im taking to the shop do you want to take them ??

I bet they will be scanned in and taken from you

Re: myhermese only pay for one collection tip for more than 1 parcel

well, I never tried that because I just paid up, I did not want a delay, most sellers would not....it only happened a couple of times, once for dimensions and once for weight.

they let go 100g apparently, they let a few of mine go through on that, they call them 'incidents', and they did not let me know, but they told me when I called them once and they were running through my logs...

thing is, if you want to keep using them, charging back for small amounts, could get you cut-off from service, which is no good if it is a convenient one for you.

their shizzy breakage exclusion policy annoys me the most....RM is better but more expensive....

oh yes, myhermes man is practically family, he is at by beck and call on his mobile......and he tells me all his family problems - sigh.....unlike the amazon guys, and ukmail...throw and go....

I do the same with UPS.
Makes no difference to the driver currently on my route.
£2.50 each parcel, plus extra £1.50 if I'm late booking in and have to pay for same day collection.
If I have 20 parcels i'll maybe do 1/2 as access point.
Extra £25 is better in my pocket than UPS

Also i wanted to see a copy of the calibration certificate of their scales it will not happen
Do not let them bully you

If it happens again just wait till its delivered and it will be and without the delay (a .

myhermes op told me that when they got a b_llocking from me ) and ring in and complain.

Remember if you are disatisfied with them make a chargeback and tell them you are going to do it. they will reconsider. . Your chargeback to them is legal and a ball ache for them .
