Selling privileges temporarily restricted
 

Ok so i have had my first ever stealth account restricted yesterday due to a trade mark violation. I have only ever had one listing removed before because of this.
Around 2 hours after listing the item i recived the message and my account got restricted, although it says it is only for 7 days and in that time i cannot list or revise any items .

This morning i checked my account and have recived sales over night and have been able to revise my listings :S

It would seem my account is not restricted. I am abit confused. Anyone had this before?

Also i there a chance they will ban my account for good?

Well, during these 7 days it will be under review, and there is a high possibility that selling privileges will be removed forever after that period. Best thing now is not to touch anything in the account during these 7 days.

There is a chance czuk so as muzzie stated, just fulfill the legit sales and keep your nose clean on the account

Can you still list new items? I believe it is a "soft" restriction.... However never sell that item again on this account. You will be doomed for sure if you do.... Now you have to keep it super clean for a pretty good shake.... Id say 3 months at least...

I have had this before.

When I get a restriction, I can still sell normally. I am only ever restricted for revising items and creating new listings.

Thanks for the reply guys. Would it be worth calling into ebay and explaining about the item? or is that not advisable ?

I personally wouldn't call in until after the 7 days and see what happens. As stated above, again personally, i wouldn't try to list anything unless you already had the item set to auto-re-post. Kind of use the self imposed honor system of 7 day restriction, so to speak. Just be very careful not to intentionally repeat the mistake anytime soon, it happens by accident often enough. I have had this happen a couple of times with no real ill effects to the account over the years. This account ran fine for 13+ years until i had a series of untimely shipping problems (my fault).:dance:

No pointt, the damage is done.

Ebays frontline customer service representatives are as useless as a chocolate teapot.

Just dont try and relist that item on this account.

Totally agree if anything you can do contact right owner and ask them to send email to ebay that issue is resolved

Anything else waste of time
