Haven't been asked for an EXPUSE number?
 

Hi all,

I have recently opened my first Stealth PayPal account. I used VisaVCC for the credit card etc and a lloyds saver for bank account (which I'm being informed now might be a No-No).
VisaVCC was sent to me from Primus this morning and I have successfully added it to my PayPal account.
In the TO-DO LIST to get varified on PayPal all I have to do is confirm the deposits in my Bank Account (which I'm still waiting for).
Why haven't they asked me for an EXPANDED USER NUMBER on credit card and presumably VisaVCC will give me that if required? I presumed PayPal would send EXPUSE straight away?! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

you should also have an option to add debit card on right hand side, on main account page

That has been done. Card has been added but they haven't asked me for my expanded user number??

Hi askpin, thanks. I don't think I'm making my point. When I added my credit card from VCCVisa PayPal have added the card immediately for varification.
PayPal have not asked me or told me that they have sent a EXPUSE number to the credit card?! I was just wondering why they haven't asked for that for varification?!

you put vcc number in, you check you vcc statement 3 days later, you get expuse and input it on paypal and you are verified

Where in PayPal is the EXPUSE number entered? I thought I remember them asking me last time. Apologies, my mistake :)

go back to same right hand to do list and it will give you a screen with a box to enter expuse, you are being a bit of a panicky penelope about this, just chill and wait..

Hi - yes - I'm amzed by this. Lol. My PayPal now says that I'm 'varified'
There is no "to-do" box and I am fully varified without having to give a EXPUSE number. I'm confused?!?!

Matty, wait still. This still hinges on that bank account being acceptable. What has happened is that the paypal shows as verified but after a couple of days, paypal says it
is not.I'll repost an explanation why.

Recall that there might be a problem with the bank account? Well it happens that
a paypal account shows as verified, then a couple of days later, paypal advises that
the new account is no good. If that bank account does not work, it takes paypal several
days to confirm this and let a user know.

hi mate did you not see the new t&c on uk paypal ?, apparently you dont have to do the 4 digit code anymore on your credit card , as soon as you have verified via the phone call your good to go so long as your b/acc is verified with the 2 deposits
