paypal - whats the deal since the advent of id serial number scanning

hi guys note made an account since 2014 and looking to make a new stealth one this coming month, i read that paypal would be partnering up with some company which provides id serial number scanning to verify documents....is there any updates on this? or has nothing major materialised so far?
are stealth accounts still being made the same way as before?

Nothing all that different has happened.

They do have a new interface though which is pretty easy to use

thanks for the response.

whats the limit at which paypal ask for docs again? 1700? or 1200?

They will ask for the docs are £1,650

They will limit the account around the £2,000 (depending on the exchange rate) and which point docs have to be uploaded to carry on using PayPal

do paypal still ask for supplier details or is theis ebays job now?

Either can ask or both can ask

eBay don't need photo ID, but PayPal will always need photo ID at the EU limit

Are you referring to this figure as a total in overall sales or just in the event that you make one transaction for this amount?

As soon as £1,650 or more goes into a UK PayPal account they will ask for docs

That can be 1000 £1.65 transactions, 100 £16.50 transactions or one for £1,650
