just buying account for uk ebay and paypal
 

hi so this is how the story goes

I was selling loads on ebay about 6 month ago until a fool done the empty box scam on me. I refused to back down - my ebay accounts were restricted and the balance was left as a negative - my partner tried to buy something off ebay uk about 3 months ago and her account had been restricted as it was linked to mine


we have moved house since then and have seen a sofa we want but they only accept paypal as payment. should we make a new account on ebay and paypal with a name variation and a new address (real one were living in) user account on pc, new isp and ip address with new credit card details?

would this be ok if were just using it as a buying only account and nothing will ever be sold?

or could paypal take my negative balance from the new card?

Yes buying account then you will be ok, new user account, email address, credit card, IP

Everything will be plain sailing.

No they couldn't take money from a card that was not associated with your last Ebay/Paypal account

Since you've moved, just sign up to ebay and paypal again, with your new address details as well as the rest of the things sax4 mentioned above. Use a new card, one not previously used on ebay/paypal. Then use this ebay account as a buying only account.
