Usually verify via voipfone call, but paypal only offering to send a text

Do i have to buy a burner mobile or is there a different platform to voipfone that can help me verify my account?

Its asking me because i am changing the bank account

You can just pop a SIM on your own phone and then use that to get the text.

Usually they wont allow you to get a text to a new number added to an account for a few days though so you may need to add it wait a week and try again

Good job.

You would need to make sure your phone is unlocked first if you use another network usually on your mobile.

you need to top up £10 to activate a giffgaff sim
use vodafone or three

It is possible to receive a text to a voipfone landline number.

Works about 65% of the time.

I use acrobits softphone app on my iPhone to receive voipfone calls and texts.

It comes through as a call, then you get "This is the SMS delivery system from BT. To listen to the message, press 1".

ASDA PAYG sims are quite neat. One £5 top up keeps them active for 9 months, you won't get longer than that with any other network provider.

You can get EE sims with £5 credit form amazon aswell
