Just opned a stealth paypal account wat is my limit
 

Just opened a stealth paypal account linked a bank to it and a VCC and mobile number all got a green tick
But ts says my limit is ....£ 2,178 is this by year or by month because theirs a little icon next to it and it sayd by year with a little question mark :(

This is perfectly normal.

In order to lift the receiving limit on a stealth account you need to submit documents (photo ID and utility bill) that match the details on the stealth account.

If you want to avoid sending in documents then you'll need to stay below £1650 per year.

It's due to money laundering regulations. The limit is 2500 euro so the UK limit is dependent on the exchange rate. It has been as low as £1700 per year (those days are long gone, lol).

This receiving limit applies to all EU countries (Due to European regulations). There are some countries out there without a receiving limits. But operating on such accounts requires Lots of experience.

That is one reason why some people have hundreds of stealth accounts.

It's fairly straightforward to get the documents you need to remove the limit. They are available in the forum for (i believe, someone will need to confirm) around £50.

Just as a note of caution, if you are opening a brand new PayPal account and are about to start selling, be prepared to go slow. Really really slow. You shouldn't be hitting the £2k for AT LEAST 6 months (in my own opinion based on my own experience, others may say you can go slightly faster).

Blimey i cant live on 2 k for 6 months maybe il have to open 3 accounts :(

You don't have to go quite that slowly.

Just be cautious you don't overdo it right away. Sell well and you will be fine.
