21 day holds

Hi

I'm thinking of getting some items dropshipped from China, I have a new Ebay and Paypal account so of course I am expecting 21 day holds.

Does anyone know whether, If I add tracking, the hold might be released sooner than 21 days

You should update tracking and also in eBay this does help most of the time should take around 7 or 10 days hope this helps

Here are a few things that will help reduce your 21 days down to about 5 days:

• Shipping item out on time.

• Submitting valid tracking information to eBay and PayPal.

• The buyer leaving a positive feedback.

Yes. Submitting tracking does help get your funds more quickly.
Usually within 3 days of the item being shown as delivered your funds will be automatically released.

You can make your PP into a business acct. and this will also remove the 21 day hold faster.

Well I am using standard delivery from China which takes more than 21 days, so hoping some funds will be available before that

Also, does anyone know if Chinese sellers tend to give tracking numbers using their standard slow service?

You would need to upload actual tracking details

Trying to take short cuts just doesn't work long term

I'm not looking for some dodgy tricks, looking to see if my drop shipping plan is viable. I have never ordered anything from China, so i'm wondering if someone orders, for example, a cheap item by slow post whether or not they would give tracking

It would give you airmail tracking generally yes. Uploading that to PayPal would make it very apparent that you are drop shipping though which PayPal don't really like
