Ebay Limited My Sales..??

I have about 30 positive FB on one account from sales - I sold 3 items last week, selling at around £70 each. Just now I tried to list some of the same items, one got through and as soon as I tried to list a 2nd, I got a message saying ebay is limiting my sales of the item to one item per 30 days..what the hell is this about??

It said I could email them to discuss this..which I havent dont just yet, thought id get some ideas/thoughts from you guys first.

I logged into ebay USA and tried to find the live help - no luck though. Does it exist anymore??

This has been going on in the US for a while.
You are limited to a certain number of "Designer" (VERO) items in a 30 day span.
These items are ANY item that is on eBay's secret "LIST".
These items can be anything that is highly counterfeited.

You could be right. I admit it..I sell such items :D
But...theres some other guy who sells one each week, every week of the same item I sell.
He has over 100 Positive FB from selling the exact same items as me..strange.
Only difference is, he lists 1 per week, I list 3 per week.

Does ebay have "favourites"? If so, why target me? I always use the extra features and pay more for them. Im making them money at the end of the day.

Should I contact ebay?? Are they really going to restrict me for 30 days? Thats insane!
Only other option is to hop onto another account.

PS is live help no longer an option?
Could i list on ebay USA instead of ebay UK to get around the 30 day ban?

Its because of your low feedback selling designer items...If they see 100+ selling brand names, than they don't limit any more, or they are less likely to limit. But yes, u r right..sometimes it appears they have "favorites"...I believe they think everyone with new account selling Vero is NARUd person back on Ebay. Ebay is very unpredictable and you never know when and who will they hit with limitation. I noticed they will usually let me list 3 items and than on the forth I'd get pop up window with 30 day thing..If you have more to list, spread over few accounts and go slow...But, I would make sure my items are authentic..It's the only way to get this 100+ feedback. If not auth., Vero will get you sooner or later.

And, keep your contact with them to minimum." Less is more" here....Live Chat is not a good thing!
I sent them an email once because I tried to re-list expensive designer item that buyer never paid for, and they told me to wait another 30 days. I asked them to review my account (only 15 100% feedback), but they responded they will reconsider in 90 days and advised me to keep on building positive feedback in the meantime.

The reason i think ebay is unpredictable is because there isnt just ONE person playing judge, jury and executioner, but a massive team of people at ebay whereby only a handful of poeple play by the "rules". The others, im guessing, are just power-hungry McDonalds rejects who do as they feel.

I think they do have favourites. A friend of a friend, who sells vero items said that he used to report other sellers selling the same item as he does and they would get Naru'd after a few complaints..but his sole competetitor who had 300+ positve feedback had his listings removed the first few times but after that he was untouchable. Coincidence? Doubt it!

Thanks for the tip Lyda..just as I thought..spread the items over afew different accounts. Cheers!
