I need UK phone numbers for making new stealth ebay/paypal accs.

Anyone have experience with virtual online UK phone numbers?

I use voipfone. There's now a voipfone app for iPhone and iPad. I don't know about other app stores. It's brilliant. £2.40 a month per number.

You can also try Sonetel.
They offer phone number for many countries - UK included. And theyre reasonably priced.

Peghmaypong = can you get the codes as i just spent £15 on credit on another company to find out after they dont allow short numbers

Did you get all setups like emails and ebay and paypal with out any issues

Yeah you can get the verification codes from eBay and PayPal either by phone or by text.

How do you mean about eBay and email set ups? They're all set up and open with no problems.

The best option I've come across is ASDA PAYG Sims. A £5 topup keeps the SIM active for around 9 months. I think that makes it the most cost effective and reliable solution out there right now.

Is it only Asda Mobile that keep the sims active, no other place provider.

No other provider keeps it active for longer than 6 months. ASDA keep it active for 9 months on the basis you top up £5 every 6 months.

Its the most cost effect and reliable method i've come across.

For sim you need mobile
What I do get free sipgate number and Top up £10 and divert calls to my mobile this last over a year

Yeah, OP asked about virtual services.

If someone has multiple accounts, the hassle of having 15-20 mobiles lying around is a nightmare. With a virtual service, you can have an app on your regular mobile and PayPal/eBay/customers can contact you whenever. If they can pick up a phone and get customer service they open cases far far far less often.

i have sipgate with £10 credit and and a live sipgate phone on a linksys pap2 . I divert my new sipgates to it for free (sipgate to sipgate is free).

a sipgate basic is free. you need email address and then select your geographical number.
once you get your number drop £10 on it. Then forward to your landline or mobile and make test call to it.

Then apply for another sipgate. and forward all calls automatiaclly to yor other sipgate.
etc.

I use a linksys pap2 and had to make up a couple of phone leads. I can connect 2 real phones to it. and make outgoing on the £10 one. very cheap to call internationally.

get on the phone to asda and order a couple of free sims. each sim comes with 10 minutes free 10 mb data and ten messages. make a call every three months on it or a text. you can rune the number for at leact 9 months for nowt. when you top up only a £5.
then a week later order another couple of sims as your wife dad or son and keep collecting them. stealth on the cheap LOL

You don't need to have 15-20 mobiles lying around, All you need is one unlocked mobile and swap the sim when required

I don't want my customers, or for that matter, eBay or PayPal getting a dead line signal when they try and contact me.
