Hopefully a glitch |
| Underhand | 09-09-2016 11:34 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Happened to me a week ago. Must of been a glitch. I withdrew the next day. |
| empirestate | 09-09-2016 01:31 PM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw How old is the account? Give me info |
| spindoctor | 09-09-2016 01:35 PM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Had the same, but was also able to withdraw 3 hours later. Just another glitch that PayPal has. Another way of trying to hold money longer. |
| bonedaddy101 | 09-09-2016 02:02 PM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw ive had that a few times before but always works in the end, maybe paypal are busy flipping youre money (: |

Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Get it loads on Paypals in other countries, I wouldn't say it's a glitch, could be wrong. Do you have a confirmed card on the account? maybe different IP or browser than usual.
Also how long ago did you receive the payment?
Nevertheless try again tomorrow should be alright |
| muzzie | 09-09-2016 03:39 PM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw They do not allow to withdraw instantly. Wait some time (several hours) and try again. |
Re: what a heck? can not withdraw I'd say most of the times using a different browser does the trick.
Other times its a glitch. If its not a glitch, then PP are sort of holding the funds, just give it a day or two, and it should release. |
| peghmeypong | 09-10-2016 12:01 PM | Any news?

| lauriat | 09-12-2016 06:44 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Yes, i sent them email, got reply that everything is OK with my account and i need to try to:
Try to clear your cache and cookies or delete your browsing history.
Try to use a different browser.
Try to use a different device.
Alternatively, you can call us for free on 0800 358 7911 so that we can manually make an adjustment on your account.
I tried clearing cache and different browser, but still can't withdraw.
Calling paypal is not an option, so i don't know what to do now. |
| peghmeypong | 09-12-2016 06:46 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Only other advice I can give is to leave the account completely alone for 24 hours and try again after that. |
Re: what a heck? can not withdraw You can try installing the app, many people including mysrlf have had success this way. Bear in mind PayPal want access to everything imaginable on your phone. Hard resetting an old phone, and installing the app is one option |

Worth a try |
| lauriat | 09-12-2016 11:22 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw any idea how to connect to 24vc from phone? |
Re: what a heck? can not withdraw |
| lauriat | 09-13-2016 04:12 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Well this is not cool, tried to withdraw from app and got message 'Denied due to Risk' |
| peghmeypong | 09-13-2016 04:24 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Hmmm. Not one I've seen before.
Are you still receiving payments on the account?
Have you left it for 24 hours without accessing the account or making any transactions etc? |
| Ebayorbust | 09-13-2016 04:36 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw The account is a UK Paypal and your flag on here states UK but you access this forum on a Latvian IP address.
The issue could be one of or a combination of the following:-
1. Your IP address (not using a decent quality UK IP address).
2. Trying to pull the funds too quickly out of the account. Were these funds received with or without 21 day holds? If you didn't get 21 day holds on the incoming funds and the account is new then this could be part of the issue.
I would suggest you do nothing for the next 3 days then attempt a small withdrawal of say £30. You must ensure you are on a proper UK IP when you do so.
My feeling is that your Latvian IP address / location is being detected and the withdrawal is being blocked for security reasons. |
| lauriat | 09-13-2016 04:44 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw I am using 24vc UK ip, all set up properly as per instructions.
Funds are coming in with 21day hold, it's been about 10 days since payments started to come in, no problem with sales.
peghmeypong i really don't want to stop sales for 24h, because there is no guarantee that it will work.
Maybe i should send another email to different department? |
| Bunneh | 09-13-2016 04:45 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw if you keep attempting to withdraw over a short period of time, you will probably end up being limited for a security check. |
Re: what a heck? can not withdraw That's a new error on me too, most honest one I've heard from PP!. Yes good to know how long after receiving payment you tried to withdraw, nice to leave at least three days on new accounts in my experience and lesser amounts.
Also app ip should be consistent of the country that you have been using to access your account |
| peghmeypong | 09-13-2016 04:55 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw OK, nobody's going to nag you to try things you don't want to.
Seems to me it's been going on for days now. If you continue to try and withdraw several times a day, you'll end up limited.
I wouldn't be trying the same thing over and over any more. |
Re: what a heck? can not withdraw As a last resort if nothing is working, I would use a residential IP to initiate the withdraw of funds.
Residential IP would be your home broadband connection, of course make sure IP is unique and uncompromised.
Note: If you decide to do this, leave the account alone for a few days, i.e. don't initate anymore withdrawals. |

| I don't think the OP is actually in the UK. |
Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Yes I had the same withdrawal issue, but was withdrawing to card, used a residential IP one time and it worked. Maybe coincidence, maybe not. |
| tannedweekend | 09-21-2016 03:10 PM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Had same problem with couple new EU accounts
Had money sit for 14+ days. Made a phone call so they took off some security. started to withdraw up to 50, than up to 100. All was fine
With Italian account was trickier as don't speak Italian.
Even tried to ring to UK pretending I am idiot and having only UK number.
Did not worked. They transferred to Italy...
So could not go further
Was about to delete account, but made final try after 30+ days.
And was lucky to withdraw 20 Eur.
Now account is 90 days old have 200-400 in account and maximum they allow to withdraw is 21.99 for more they ask phone verification, so I will update number and will verify I it will stay like this |
| lauriat | 09-22-2016 04:35 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Update to this case, today i was able to withdraw money, i have done nothing different than before, which makes me think maybe there is some time limit from when you start receiving payment and when you will be able to withdraw. I believe this limitation might be in place only for risk account, as i am selling non-tangible goods. This is only just a guess, i really don't know what's going on. |
Re: what a heck? can not withdraw Was the amount same?
it would've been worked earlier if the amount was smaller. |
| lauriat | 09-22-2016 10:54 AM | Re: what a heck? can not withdraw amount did not matter, i tried big and small before. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:37 AM. | |
