Can I sign up to MP once I open a new ebay account?

Or must I be invited? The reason I ask this is because my ebay account was banned the other day (MP related) I will sign up again using my full real details, but once the new account has been created I would like to sign up with MP again right out of the gate, as using my current paypal account would link me to my banned account. At this point my PP account is un-effected

In the EU it is still by invitation but new business accounts can register interest. I guess this might push you further up the queue.
