Abusive Buyers Policy Suspension
 

Hi there,


I've just had my eBay account suspended indefinitely, according to eBay's 'abusive buyer policy. The only reason I can think is that I've returned two England shirts due to them being ⊗⊗⊗⊗, had one cancelled by the buyer and had an open return for a coffee machine (which I ended up keeping and never closed the return).

I can't understand why they've closed the account and I'm pretty gutted (as I use eBay to try and find bargains etc).

eBay chat are unwilling to help.

Do anybody have any suggestions?

This is a sellers forum. You've probably caused eBay to lose money somewhere along the line. You should still be able to use guest checkout though.. with another card.

yOU SHOULD have closed the return of coffee maker instead of leaving it open,but there must be more for Ebay to close your account

Sounds like you just use it for buying purposes.
I opened several accounts for buying on my real info even having been suspended in the past (for selling activity) - never had an issue.
Try opening a new account and see how it goes - couldnt hurt. Use a slight variation of your name if you can, use a new address if you can (PO box or relative's address) and definitely use a new IP solution.

Abusive buyers policy ? Did you swear or use profanity at all ?

Or you've returned one too many items.

Sounds like too many returns and open claims...maybe in a short period of time
