Ebay Limitations
 

As a new seller, selling a branded item, Ebay UK often<I dont know if it is always and with everyone> Limit the ammount of items you can sell of that product.
I have found it is around the 50 mark where you get the message due to blah blah you are limited selling this item for 30 days........etc.etc

Was wondering if anyone knew a way around this, or how to prevent it from happening altogether in the UK?

Thoughs , ideas, experiences welcomed.

Spread your sales across multiple accounts!

my best suggestion is to not sell it but that's no help ;)

Are you able to 'spread' the listings over several accounts? What is happening to you is common even in the USA. You will need to find the 'level' to list to avoid the problem. Sounds as if this is a new account & you are trying to make a killing for Chrimbo sales? :ranger:

New acct gets more limits. Make more acct, let most of them age for future use.

I think I have missed the crimbo boat but thats no a problem, as what I sell sells well whatever the season or time of year.

I do not have multiple accounts, as I only have the one static IP, my dynamic IP is sticky and never changes so no good for creating multiple accounts.

I can create more ebay accounts with the one IP I have now, I know if one goes they all go, but at least it is another platform to be able to sell from.
( However I think I read somewhere that you cant sell the same things on different accounts?)

The problem is, even if you dont reach the limit on day one two or three, even a week or month, once you reach 50 items, they stop you from selling in that catorgory for 30days

Then I suggest you make extra accounts (which is allowed) with matching info & rotate selling. 50 is not necessarily the amount that will trigger the selling limitation. Try not to generalize too much as ebay/paypal are too variable..:peace:
