Business Verification - absolute joke
 

Came across this video on Youtube and couldn't believe how useless ebay are ...

These genuine ebay sellers moved home, changed their address which triggered business verification. They went through every obstacle ebay throwed at them and they were STILL denied back on ebay. In the end it's their youtube channel and chat with the general manager that got them re-instated.

Makes me wonder they could have saved a lot of time and effort by just using their real details and giving the useless monkeys at ebay what they wanted, a creative doc with everything they're asking for. It's worked for stealthers for donkey years. The trainees at ebay would have just let them back on.

Time and time again we are reminded ebay can switch the light off at a moments notice which is why stealth and this forum is invaluable.

there is nothing surprising about this , there are just many people who believe that someone will be looking into their issue but no one cares , in this case they may have found a way to attract attention through social media but in general it should be done differently

ideally you should not change your details on ebay at all

but if you need to change them you run a credit check on yourself and see if it works

because if credit check fails you will be suspended and no one will be looking into anything , it does not matter if you account is 1 month , 1 year or 20 years old

and of course I forgot about people who love fairytales , they just go to ebay where they will see a nice description of how it works so they think it has to be this way because it is officially written this way , an official source can not lie can it?

and later down the line they will discover the reality behind it

I agree, egay can drop you at any time for any reason, now it's even worse with ai being given control

9/10 eBay relies on automations/systems to save money.

They deal with a lot of F and want to minimise risk, ultimately a flawed system as genuine users are hassled.

Best thing you can do is get in touch with them immediately livechat/phone and explain the situation articulately, with evidence (e.g. proof of house move), a human will manually assess the situation at this point and probably reinstate.

You must remain persistent and consise in order to get through to a human being from the relevant department that will actually help out though.
