suspended 2021 on ebay UK. did anyone buy a stealth account and didn't have problems?
 

question for UK sellers only.

i got permanently suspended in 2021. now 4 yrs later i've tried to recover my accounts but got a no for an answer. ebay has all my details including id, well they have my national ID (im from spain but registered in ebay UK and permanent UK resident, but ID and passport from spain). i wonder if creating a new account and using my passport instead, with all other details new, would pass. the problem is name and DOB are exact same.

Other than that i could buy a stealth account from one of the sellers here but then doesn't ebay verify that the submitted ID is real?? i still have my doubts about stealth accounts working, honestly. if it was like in the past, that ebay was linked to paypal only without knowing your identity then that would be pretty easy to bypass but now after Managed Payments we are screwed up.

for context, apart from name and DOB, all my other details would be new: ip, UK address, phone, UK bank account so it would be no linkeage on that front. im only worried if submitting my passport this time, which has exact name and DOB as my ID, would find out it's the same suspended person.

Has anybody bought and used an ebay stealth account without getting suspended how long have you had it?

I think right now it might be a tough market for UK Ebay accounts.

there are no account sellers left because nearly 100% of new accounts get suspended , which details you use there does not matter , no one will be checking

but why do most of them get suspended. are you talking about stealth accounts because they can be easily found out by ebay or what

No, the above statement is not correct.

So my recommendation is to create your acc with the stealth guide AND also buy one from the marketplace in here so you got both ends covered.

I don't think eBay cares anymore they are losing so many users with these changes.

Few reasons

Last year there was a massive crack down during the holiday season. Happens each year last year was just the biggest

Things are always fine again come Feb onwards then get hard again in late September

You will usually create an account get an item listed then it will get suspended (this is pretty normal) then just phone and get it restored by verifying with questions over the phone or they may ask for some bits to be emailed over to them (which despite what murdered_by_ebay is posting non stop) does actually work

I personally retired my thread as I had a large back order of accounts from the end of last year and since I always offered a 4 week warranty on them all I had a lot of catching up to get done. Making accounts now is fine. Sure some will still get limited that has and always will be the case with eBay. Not all will get restored but a lot will. Its a % game

The basic concept laid out in the guide still works for keeping all the eBay accounts separate from each other and still should be followed. Now more than ever in terms of preventing linking. That alongside a solid IP, decent number and a bank account then with a bit of determination its still relatively easy

Then elaborate why you can't, while I'm looking at successful people in UK creating accounts and still selling as of this month.

LIke me they still followed the basics of the stealth guide.

Sure, some things have changed and they'll keep evolving, but the very basics are the same

It certainly is correct, for the UK.

The Stealth Guide is useless nowadays but I appreciate you want to milk it for as long as possible.

Making UK accounts now needs far far more than is covered in that book, and even then, 9/10 times they eventually fail unless genuine details are used. All will fail if they start using a check service for National Insurance numbers.

The second 2 points. None genuine works fine (not always but genuines also don't always work)

Hooky details work fine for a period, but once sales volumes increase, 9/10 they fail. I have yet to find any account with high turnover that has been created within the past six months succeed. Happy to be proved wrong.

My feeling is, after speaking to someone whose company does NI number checks is that eBay will eventually (may not be immediately) send a full list to HMRC and that comes back with a simple pass/fail and they will give you a chance to amend it, but if it fails again, you're done. Still, speculation for the time being but based on anecdotal evidence.

Depends on what you mean by high. I myself just keep all accounts to under 5k a month and haven't had issues

This is though mainly to avoid the VAT trigger

Do tell how you enter National Insurance number details into one of the accounts being sold here?

Where do you get the NI number from to match the details on the account?

I've been creating accounts (buyer only at this point admittedly) in the same browser with the same cookies still using same details except for a new email address, even phone number is the same. Original accounts were suspended instantly - 1 month after open) Paying through paypal on the original email. None of my accounts have died in the last 6-8 weeks i started doing this. I'm actually surprised. Ebays getting desperate. A lot of gov interference actually backfires. Pretty much every website now has to accept vpn buyers, to think 10 years ago, even 5 years ago, vpn buyer was a scammer 11 times out of 10. Gov data logging by telecomms companies, online safety bill, now NI numbers. Companies have to comply where they legally have to and to make up for it become lax in other areas if they wish to stay in operation

Buyers accounts are always much easier to keep running V sellers account

But yes VPNs are much more accepted now - although still if you can use a mobile proxy that is always still going to be the best way

If you do use a VPN just make sure its a good quality one :)
