New account, raring to go, but you realise you have to go slowly , sell a few items here and there to get your feedback up, however people buy but do not complete transaction straight away, you give them some time, nothing! you email them, nothing! How long do you wait for? Whats the best course of action? Do nothing take the fee hit and move on, hoping he might come back, or email them after lets say 7 days, tell them you have to tell ebay about non payment so you dont lose your fees, however possibly risking a neg from the buyer?

dont take fee hit, open unpaid item dispute on ebay, and close case when it warns you to and you get the fee credited back. alternatively opt for buy it now with immediate payment box ticked - usually they dont neg you, they just havent replied because they dont want item or are oblivious....
