Yes there are several ways. Some legitimate and some ...

Has he paid for the item? If not you can file an unpaid item after 7 days. If they do not respond after 7 days then you can close the ebay case and the neg will magically dissappear!

you can pm me for further details about matters.

Or another method you can use is to contact them saying you are sorry you let them down etc. And offer to put it right.

You can send a feedback amendment form (5 uses for every 1000 of feedback)

If they complete it they can change the rating and /or the tecxt they have written. This is sometimes tough as they have to communicate with you and take steps to resolve the neg issue. Some ebayers are as mad as a box of frogs and wont co-operate.

If i want a neg removed I often offer a small financial incentive on a new account. I dont bother on older more established accounts.

Thanks for the advice Neo, very comprehensive.

I managaed to sort it out before reading back here, had a few ideas of my own, from what I have read on other forums.

Should not have had a knee jerk reaction, I appologise! cleared my head and thought about it rationally , and came up with a solution, and it worked.

Thanks for the quick response nonetheless

NP GB, sorry for the profanity! Just so annoying, you do so much to get back up and running and the first thing that happens is a big fat red on your account , not good at all i tell you !
