Need to change eBay details into my real name.
 

Hi everyone,

I currently have a stealth account set up that is registered as a business and has an eBay shop open. The account has a f*ake name and a f*ake address hence the stealth. I haven't properly started trading yet but everything has been verified (eBay and PayPal) and all my selling limits have been removed I also have 20 odd positive feedback.

As you can understand I need the both PayPal and eBay accounts in my real name for when the business grows and the tax man comes looking or I need to become VAT registered. Being eBay stealth with f*ake details isn't sustainable.

Could I for example open a P.O Box and operate from there with my real name?

Could be risky whats your advice?

you do have to associate the two, as long as you make the invoices (for the tax man) in your business name and pay your tax.

i would never start a business and associate the name with eBay, i would put all my efforts in to building a website that accepts credit/debit cards no paypal and directing every person i ever come across to that website

Just as a quick example i started building a website about 5 moths ago and started trading 3 moths ago, i have seen as steady increase in sales and i am very happy with the profits i am making, so much so I'm not really using eBay

Just stay stealth, pay taxes and use your profit for something that will be far more rewarding in the long run, be your own boss.
