Ebay doesn't recognize computer

Hello

Ok I have a VPS that I have recently acquired for the purpose of logging into a stealth ebay and pp.

A little while ago, on another account, ebay said 'we don't recognize your computer...' etc etc, and I ended up having to do phone verification.

Because VPS is basically using another computer/browser, it will cause me similar problems I do believe.

Is it possible to transfer cookies from one comp browser to another?

I'm thinking could doing this cause me even more problems, I might import cookies onto the VPS computer, but what about flash cookies, browser fingerprinting. Maybe it's best to just accept I will probably have to do phone verification and not bother importing anything.

What do folks think?

This happened to me when I moved my eb ay activity from home to work computer heh.

I did the phone verification - no problems since I did not know about cookies and gibberish - this was in late 2009. Was simple and kept selling.

Yeah I think that is the best action, if they see the cookies are the same, but something else has changed then that will be a big alarm signal. Cheers

Yes - just do it in a whole new user account so that any other eb ay activity on that comp does not potentially conflict. New user account could be taken as you bought a new computer - that's normal day-to-day affair.

I would be logging in on the VPS and it's new so user accounts aren't a problem.
