ebay , gift credit cards ,didn't work
 

yesterday the 23rd of feb have open a account with ebay, useing a fasle name and address , new email address , new ISP and new phone number, , so far everything ok, when trying to open a sellers account, they now require ,to verifly a credit card and bank a/c details, l first put in my mastercard gift card from cashplus UK and it seem ok went onto the next page and put in my real bank details, but with the fasle name and address,
and message came up unable to verifly your bank details, please contact customer service, so l tried again from the start , this time when l put in the credit card thew same message came up , " unable to verifly your credit card " have ebay now got new software to match up names with bank a/c ?
and have they got new software to exclude all credit gift cards ?
any one with the same problems, or any help ?

You need a new IP and ISP to start new with ebay. ccleaner is recommended to clear cookies as it is more effective.

yes l used window washer, which is recommended by all the leading pc mags
and did clear everything off my computer, also l deleted all pictures that l had used with my pre ebay accounts, and got a new isp address

how much balance is in ur gift card? i sense that your card had only 1£ of balance, and ebay used it (i mean got it taken off in authorization - didnt actually charged it), you can verify the same card again if you put some balance in your card.. if you want to wait your 1£ will be released in about 5-6 days as ebay didnt really charged it but placed an authorization of 1£ to check if the card is working ok..

2ndly donot go directly for creating a seller account if you choose that way it will always ask u put in bank account.. but try to list something.. just pretend u r listing.. lets say anything.... so it will then ask u put in ur credit card and will tell u to have a landline ready as ebay will call u .. get a virtual number from voipfone if you dont have any spare landline numbers.. once u pass these checks u are all set as a seller..

thanks powerbid, have sign up tonite got a number which costs £2.24 to rent per month, very inpressed with the cost of calls and how easy it was to set up , am going tpo sign up for landlines calls (very cheap )

I've been getting accounts banned after the 1st upload recently. It can only be down to the VCC.
