Is ebay trying new tracking techniques (hacker style)

Hi Guys,

I have just linked new paypal and ebay account together using usual stealth methods. However when i completed phone verification ebay asked me to click on proceed button. Suddenly i got a message pop up asking me to save this file "eBayISAPI.dll" to my system32 folder.

Has anyone come across this as im worried they are trying to bypass multiple window user accounts to link accounts

Funnily enough I was thinking this in my brain over the last week.

I was thinking maybe they are putting a virus style silent install on your pc and now someone post a topic on here about it.... hmmmmm

thats just a usual tracker.

On macs you can find it in the lib-preferences. everytime you log in they will add this secureinclude.ebaystatic.com

Just delete. Erase all cookies and dont sign into an old account. Or bye bye!
