can ebay track your computer via the Licence number
 

forget ABOUT ebay tracking your ISP, what about your computer ?
the next time you go to mircosoft to down load any updates it verifys your License number which is unique to your computer before it goes ahead, well if they can see it why not ebay!!!!

Why use Microsoft? There is other software that can be used that is also free. Bantu by Linux works. Depending on your skill level you could reformat your own computer.
Another alternative could be to use a Mac computer, purchased 2nd
hand.
There are UK users here that run different systems. I am sure that
they will advise you.
I use an older platform of Linux 'cos I like that penguin. lol.

Microsoft uses ActiveX controls to dig through your computer and likely other crap that comes with the OS. That is how they do it.
