VERO fax form - all reasons for listing removal

Looking over the VERO pages, came across the VERO fax form:

I just can't understand how they do not monitor whether or not reports are genuine. Sure I could fill out that form claiming someone has use text that I have copyrighted on their listing, and get their item removed?

I'm not quite sure how eBay verify that every VERO case is being reported by the actual IP owner.

Yeah ive often wondered this. Im sure some are just in the system and if your listing matches your hit. Do they count copying pic, descript, ect? then a competitor turns you in for "copying" their listing?

Just to share...
I know that they verify Vero Owners identity, and what speeds up the process, is when they can call you, and also by referring them to your website, where you show them your Genuine items.
They will also send you a Vero welcome letter, (Im sure to be certain you are who you say you are)..
--After that, when they post the first vero takedown, they have whats called a Vero On Line Tool.. With this, you simply can toggle to the bottom of the listing in question, and report right from the listing itself.
--You get the Vero Tool, once youre approved, and once they verify and LINK your Vero user id, for you...
So, a Vero Owner can report with their on line tool, and once your a Veteran Vero member, I'm certain it automatically comes down, without even going through ebays hands...
--Those faxes are for getting started , and starting the Vero Process, you must also Identify the actual infringement, i.e. Section/ 1.1, 1.3
