Bronze Powerseller Limits

Does any one knows the default limits (no of item and amount) of a bronze powerseller?

Also does anyone know if it is NORMAL for a powerseller to still have their pre-powerseller limits (50 items and 5k$) after becoming a powerseller?

Powerseller status is granted mostly to make you feel good, the badge doesn't even show up on the listings anymore. Give eB a call if you want your limits adjusted, just be prepared to ID yourself.

You get a bit of FVF discount too though.

No fvf discount again

eB ay has ended this since March I believe. There is no point in being PowerSeller any more and they will probably fade it out and leave only Top Rated.

RimmingTon 05-13-2011 09:14 AM

it's still showing on the control panel on one of my accs?

moustafa 05-13-2011 06:23 PM

yes, its still shown and i don't think that paypal will fade it!

unkown5454 05-14-2011 03:52 PM

Sorry. June is the ending date:

"PowerSeller discounts:

All US PowerSellers who are not Top-rated sellers will receive a 5% Final Value Fee discount on eBay.com and eBay Motors. Please note: This discount will be retired beginning with the first invoice in June 2011.

Canadian PowerSellers will receive a 5% Final Value Fee discount on eBay.com, eBay Motors, and eBay.ca listings. (Please note: This discount will be retired beginning with the first invoice in June 2011.) Canadian PowerSellers who meet eBay.ca highest levels of performance will receive a 20% discount."

So, yes, it will fade.

Top Rated is all just a cover for their getting rid of many Power Sellers. The only reason for their DSR's were to do just that. Think about it, before DSR's it was feedback as the guage for doing business. Not anymore.

New CEO's do it all the time, they start cutting so called 'dead weight' in efforts to make their investors happy, and they got the pink slips of many power sellers to prove it.
Many Power Sellers were clueless to this and changing the rules on them overnight was not to make them better sellers but to quickly see many of them fall along the wayside.

DSR's and 100% customer satisfaction were just a cover for ebay's dirty deeds once again, cutting 'dead weight' and telling their investors they have reduced fraud on their site in doing so.

I would completely agree with this. Since the ideas of DSR and Top Rated started, I have never seen one good thing come of it except a loophole for removing a class of users as you mentioned.
