Hi any law buffs out there know more about the freedom of information act in relation to the private sector ?

Anyone know if ebay is a wholly owned company?

FOIA applies only to Gov. and public agencies. eB is wholly owned by it's shareholders.

I am from the UK and was asking about UK law, however I do not want to deter from my opening questions. Please take your wars else where, there is no need for it.

Inadvertingly you used a term not exactly pertinent to UK law.

Your inquires would be made in the terms of the Data Protection Act.
