How Do I Change My Ip Address With A 3 Mobile Wireless Modem
 

Hi guys,

I have a 3 mobile dongle which uses the 3 mobile network backbone.

When i try ipconfig/release I get the message :

No operation can be performed whilst it has it's media disconnected.

Can anyone help ?

I might need to use a proxy ? Can anyone recommend a good UK
proxy to use ?

I use the Privacy guard changes to proxy and you keep changing until you get to your country!

I've used it very successfully selling on Craigslist in America! They only let you post if your ip is USA!

Do you think that putting another SIM card in would change the IP? Its fairly easy to get hold of PAYG SIM cards

Does anyone know if any of the above suggestions work for changing your ip on 3 mobile broadband?

medway, I thought the UK plans for 3 mobile broadband now gave you a NAT Dynamic IP?
If you are an existing customer, you can get a plan that gives you this.

Should be OK. Just keep a log of your IPs and check.

You can add different default logons from three dongle mobile networks
and they give you different last 2 digit suffix IP numbers each time you
logon.

Yes but can they ID you if your Ip only changes the last two digits? I'm running into this also. The total number of combos you have are 255.

If the Ip is: 208.54.14. XXX

Can they Id you from the 208.54.14 part? I guess we'll find out.
