eBay Requests for Proof of Ownership of Items
 

Hi,

I have had an unused account for 2 weeks now. I decided to buy an item to re-sell on ebay using this account, however when I tried to re-list the item on a 1 day auction, they suspended me. Am I able to forward my winning bid notification, as someone else is paying the item, as still verifying pay-pal, also was going to get seller to send direct to buyer as well. I have an item the same at my parents...is there a way of writing ebay username on paper with inventory, have passport, and address proof...

Write your user name on a piece of paper and take a picture of the item with you holding the paper above it.

If you are able to send the item via recorded / special delivery and provide the tracking info and they can see it has been delivered PP and ebay will accept that as proof of ownership,

I got hit with a limitation before requesting proof of ownership but had already sent it out special delivery and when I asked about this was told to just provide the tracking number to show it was delivered and they accept that as proof of ownership and the limitation was lifted straight away

feedback is also classed as proof of ownership. Just explain the situation to them, these things tend to be auto triggered, they ask for proof on all sorts of one-off and used items, and then it takes ages to get a human to actually look at what they asked for.
