Ebay registration seller VCC problem
 

Guys,

I have actively been on the board for a number of years but have
not stumbled across this problem, not needed to open a UK ebay
seller account in some time so might be new procedures in place ?

I have set up new stealth paypal and ebay accounts, awaiting verification
of the two deposits for paypal so not verified as yet. I am trying to
list a DVD and as usual am asked for phone verification, all ok, now
asking for payment details, i usually just go to the DD section and fill
it in, which i have done but they are asking for CC details, i have used
entropay but ebay message states, not valid card, so created several
new cards via entropay and same message ?

So went through the pay ebay fees via paypal, same message, CC details
not refused, try new card.

Question, once the paypal account is verified with bank details (two deposits accepted), will they ask for VCC details still ? If so, not sure what problem is as i cannot get VCC details to verify.I have followed all usual stealth steps in creating these accounts & adding VCC to paypal also gives me the same message whilst trying to add card to paypal.

I have also tried the second option whilt creating seller account on ebay,
which simply states add CC to pay ebay fees but same message, invalid CC
trying to use entropay. Entropay account is all clear, ok to use and is not
linked in anyway to PP or Ebay.

Any suggestions or do i have to wait for verification status from paypal
to avoid the VCC section, if this is still applicable ?

If you add and verify with a bank account- a vcc is not essential. The bank account is the most important part regarding UK paypal and eBay if selling.

I would not list anything on eBay until the paypal account is verified. You are running the risk of a registration suspension and a request for docs.

Many, many thanks Ebayorbust, it's what i thought, you have cleared the path
for me. I just had a sneaky suspicion that you HAD to use CC details, no matter
what, in order to list ASWELL as bank verification. Phew ! Mind you, i bet it's just a
matter of time before they insist on both (inside leg measurments) will probably
also be required in the near future too ! lol
