Hi all! Newbie here!
Very happy to find this site as ive been pulling my hair out constantly for the last month its been horrible. I had my seller account closed and ebay messaged all the buyers from the last month (bearing in mind they left me positive feedback) and they were demanding refunds etc etc. What a mess! They even shut down my Dad's account because were living at the same address.

So i asked my good friend if i can sell from his account and he kindly accepted, however when i try to list one of my clothing items i am told that i am only allowed to list 5 items in a 30 day period?

Now im stuck, do i wait another 30 days or is there another way round this?
Also can anyone recommend what i do with my suspended account, will i ever be able to set up an ebay account from my home address again?
Not quite sure what to do is there anything I can do bearing in mind i have a lot of stock that i need to sell.

I can't believe it has all happened and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone as it is a pain!

Welcome.

You need to buy the guide and read it. There is no hope for your old accounts nor for future ones at your present address.

The principles of stealth work 100% when applied correctly to making new accounts so buy the guide, read it, understand it completely before starting again and you will be back on e/b pretty soon.

As for using your friends account, DON"T DO IT!!!!!!!

Whatever got you banned will in all probability get his account banned too and they won't be your friend for too much longer if that happens.

Deffo buy the guide. I was dubious as it was money I didn't have with losing my eBay business, but without it you will make a mistake somewhere along the way and be in the exact same situation.

it seems you are selling someting that eb deems risky - there is no way around this type of limit - you must prove that you can be trusted to sell this brand of item. The length of time they assess you for will depend on how risky the brand is - i.e gucci, ysl - 1-2 per mth, mac - 3-4 p/m etc.

ps - you need stealth, this will greatly help you considering that you will probably come across product limits.
