Hi :) trying to start over
 

Hi all :)

I'm not quite sure where to post but as a UK ebayer, I thought it most suitable here.

Just a little history now.. I've been on ebay for many years and have had many suspensions for the most random things. Many accounts have been set up using my telephone number that they have blocked it. But for now, my address still seems valid if I use another phone number and name.

But that's the thing. I want to completely start over using my own number so as to not implicate others in my crazy ebaying ways. I have read a lot of threads regarding phone number verification using forwarding number services etc but these come with the catch that they are only temporary.

So I guess my question is this: is there a way I can start over?

And please don't just resort to saying "read the stealth guide". There seems to be users with stealth accounts getting blocked so I'm a tad apprehensive.

Welcome to the forums - all the best as you find what you seek. I will say this...users with stealth accounts getting BLOCKED tend to become blocked by selling too quickly, selling risky stuff, etc...the method of creating accounts tends to be solid.

The only reason stealths get banned again are because people have not read up and researched up properly before pursuing a come back.

Like anything worth keeping - it shouldn't be rushed.

Treat it as a learning curve.

I can tell you what you will need for a new stealth account:

1. New IP
2. New Useraccount
3. New Information

The stealth guide - is exactly what it says it is - it's a guide which will help you to avoid getting banned/linked again to your older accounts and a great wealth of knowledge - i wouldn't put it down straight away since your judging it already on a small percentage of people who have been banned again the cause was carelessness not the guide.

I'd start by searching the forum - use the search button on the right.

I'm sure you will be back on e/b p/p in no time.

There is huge percentage of successful stealthers which out weighs the 1% of failures.

To read the stealth guide you would need to buy it. It's offered as a suggestion to help you to start again. Your choice what you want to do.

Couple of clues.

Dont use any of your old suspended info.
That puts your phone and address out.

Change your mindset about 'crazying ebaying'. Such a style will creep up & bit you.

You should be endeavouring to make a stealth ebay and paypal account that works.:D

Tidbit of side info: Clue was/is a boardgame that is still popular for murder mystery afficianados - look it up.

It does seem you have written off stealth before reading it. Stealth is what you make it

and if you have common sense and read the forums carefully you can get all the

information you need to set up without buying the guide.

The problem with that? A few people on the forums give wrong or mis-leading

information, after reading the forums for months before i bought the guide i found that

the only way to ensure i could build accounts to last was to fork out a little money and buy it.

I can seriously say its the best money i have spent in a long time. :clap:

Accounts both real and stealth can be lost at any time, that is the way of e/b and p/p.

Users who are losing stealth accounts are in the main making fundamental mistakes in setting them up or because they become complacent and don't follow stealth rules as they should or they disregard the reasons why they lost their real accounts in the first place e.g. selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods, poor customer service etc.

There are many successful people here running multiple stealth accounts and who follow the golden rule of "staying under the radar"
