Selling Collectables On new Account??
 

A relative of mine asked if i could sell his Antiques / Collectibles
for him, I have a new account but have never sold in this section before.
I only have about 20 ratings on this account.

Are antiques / Collectibles considered high risk items?

Can be - a lot depends on how you present your item

Lots of pictures - if possible with your ID on a sheet of paper.

Put up any provenance you may have for any item

This sector can get a lot of SNAD because buyers expectations can be unrealistic

I would expect lots of holds, reserves and requests for invoices

Other than that no problem

That Ming vase you are selling turns out to come from Poundland

You then have the job of proving that the item sent back to you was not the one you sent out.
