suspended ahhhh!!!

whats the risk factor of listing the following products

nike jordans - seen so many ⊗⊗⊗⊗ not took down, is there a nac???
mac eyeshadows - so many u cant tell
lacoste polo shirts - same again is there a nac?

djmuggs 06-07-2008 12:12 PM

it all depends how old your account is. if its more then a month old then youll get awhile with listing a couple auctions a week. but since those are VERO items, if you make a new account and attempt to sell any expect a suspension within 48 hours...

especially on the nikes.

deankenny 06-07-2008 12:17 PM

with the nikes, all i see on ebay is the chinese made ones and theres one powerseller who has over 50 listings of nike shoes from just one company i seen online in china???

aspkin 06-07-2008 12:23 PM

Yep, that's EBay for you. They'll let some sellers slide while everyone else is screwed.

I keep saying VeRO is very hard to beat, there are a few tricks but it doesn't guarantee anything. Read the VeRO forum for more details.

what do u think of this? yurexit.com

aspkin 06-07-2008 02:13 PM

Worthless, don't bother with them. Just make your own account, it's easy..

deankenny 06-07-2008 03:09 PM

but ive read all the step by step guides, and i get stuck on a debit credit card, i only have a solo and because of my credit rating i cant have any new accounts anywhere so i have no way of getting seller status, unless of course theres still a way round it

ebayhateluv 06-07-2008 03:20 PM

Debit card---Simon.com, allaccess visa at grocery stores

If you want a reloadable one---walmart has a silver one at their ck outs-- called net spend--but look closer- as theyve changed packaging--you want the one that says --ALL ACCESS--its no cr ck.. (if u want reloadable)--

I hope this is what you were asking??
Good Luck :))

They may not necessarily be knockoffs. Nike does have factories throughout Asia, including China.

Here's a link about it: Nike Labor Practices in Vietnam

dont u need a credit rating for them and also im in uk? doe that matter?

jscan 06-07-2008 08:10 PM

lol yeah MAC is now a high counterfeited product, the Chinese are always one step ahead.
Id imagine thats a high risk vero item now, Nike the usual story same with lacoste.
As said depend on your account and volume.

GreenBean 06-07-2008 10:35 PM

deankenny, you can use your solo debit card to buy an entropay card that you can use to start your ebay account. Try to stay away from ALL the vero items you have mentioned. Now ebayuk is being hard with these goods. Really not worth losing the account.
There is a special UK ebay suspension & UK paypal suspension section so you should read there.;)
** Could you edit your profile and put United Kingdom as your location. That
helps with answers.

deankenny 06-09-2008 12:29 PM

but i cant find any good non vero items with good resell value, what about nokkia mobile phones

411guru 06-09-2008 01:15 PM

Just look. Its out there. I never knew why some people rely on hi risk vero stuff. I did fine without them.

i know ur not gona give ur secret away, thats understandable but any tips ??

I assume you have a Tax ID/Business License? If so go find a wholesaler directory, easiest way is to go to your local flea market's office. They will have a wholesaler newsletter with tons of wholesalers on there. Pick out a few you're interested in, go there. Buy a few products, list them. Through trial and error, find witch ones sell.

Example: You know those toy radio controlled helicopters that was selling it crack during Christmas, that you saw at every mall kiosk for $40-50? I could get those for $5. YEP at the wholesale place.

Another: Think a few years back. Remember those video game consoles that played 300+ Nintendo games lilke mario bros. etc? Sold at mall kiosks for $50+? I got those for $10.

"Compare to" sunglasses. Sold at mall kiosks for 2 for $20. Wholesale = $1.50 each. YEP. Not cheap crap either, really good ones with metal frame, spring hinges etc. My friend has such a kiosk and he can make $3000 in 1 day!!!

I sold all of these when I had a retail store front. Those were the top three that sold like crack and I constantly ran out of stock. I don't sell anymore because its a headache having a real store with inventory control, rent, hire/fire employees etc. I am almost able to make the same with much less effort selling digital items which can be downloaded. Almost.

So like I said. Just look.

deankenny 06-09-2008 02:21 PM

we dont have flea markets over here, we are in the uk section m8

411guru 06-09-2008 02:28 PM

Ops. I'm sure you have something similar. In any case, you get the idea.
