I've accidently signed up for eBay using the wrong age, how can I change it as Paypal will match the details with my credit card

Your age has no relevance for the cc check. Only comes into play if you get ID verified.

Are you saying you created a paypal account and entered the wrong Date of Birth?

If so the minute you try to change it Paypal will ask you for documents. Best to leave it alone.

I haven't seen the date of birth field when signing up for months now... I thought that they removed it completely. Anyway, it doesn't seem to be possible to modify it in my experience... name/address is possible but not DOB. It shouldn't pose a problem for you though... I have unwittingly uploaded documents with the wrong DOB and all limits were still lifted.

Depends on the conduct of the account.

Might fly.

Preferable to have matching info.

If it is not, then you react accordingly if get pulled up for the difference.

These are basic errors. You should start being more careful.

I am getting the same thing in the US ebay. I think they took it off.
