Debt Collections calls from ebay: course of action
 

My ebay account was 'not a registered user' any more couple of months ago. After this, some buyer opened case, even though I have posted all the items.
Ebay refunded money to 3 of them, so I thought it will be deducted from my paypal automatically.
Recently I got couple of emails from ebay to this 'dead' account, ebay said I need pay xxx to them, otherwise, my account will be suspended....

So I just ignore these emails.

Yesterday, I got a call from data collection company and today a letter arrived.

Do I really need to pay them? I don't want to.. I have enough amount in my paypal to cover this, but pp is also limited because of ebay. and the amount in pp will be released after a certain time.

Is the information you registered with your account your own personal/real information or is it stealth information?

Do you have tracking for the items you sold and posted and then got claims for?

Were they claimed for within the 45 day timeframe?

It's real address. but the letter address without house number, but the local postman know the name, so it's still delivered, but I will move to new house soon. wont' live here any more.

The 3 cases opened after they suspended my account, they claimed item not received, one of them even bought one month ago. I don't have tracking number but I provided proof of posting.

I used my BF phone number on ebay, so called my bf phone since yesterday. Today they called couple of times again, my BF know the number so he doesn't answer it. I ask him to tell them my phone number but he said it's not working this way. He want me to pay it, I don't want to, I have posted all goods, I have enough amount in paypal account, they hold it at the moment, why I still need to pay them. Buyer opened the case is because ebay suspended my account and removed all listing.

I should not use my BF phone number, because he is business person. I really don't want him involved. Ebay business is all my own business.
