MC999 Listing policy violation alert -

i received this warning today:

MC999 Listing policy violation alert : Parallel Import Violation - Unauthorized Item

The reason i think/know i got this is because of the pictures i uploaded that shows the product is from the official company.

How long after should i wait before putting up another auction, and would they still chase me if i change the picture to show no "official packaging" etc?

i dont want to end up banned

Re: MC999 Listing policy violation alert - HELP?

The violation would have stemmed from someone reporting you, maybe a competitor. But as far as I know of the violation was to do with company packaging I'm sure the violation would read 'MC999 Listing policy violation - Trademark Violation'

Re: MC999 Listing policy violation alert - HELP?

If EB told you that you had a policy violation, then I would be careful about re-posting immediately. Out of all my stealth accounts, I tested my limit on one of them. I had had a MC999 violation. I re-listed a week later just to see what would happen. I had never had a MC999 before this one. I get 2 messages. One was telling me that I was restricted for 7 days from listing items. 2 days later, they send me an indefinite selling restriction for a MC999 violation from a listing about a month ago.
So from my MC999 experience, I would not recommend re-listing for at least 2 weeks; however, a month would be better. Also, I have never seen the violation that you had listed below. You may want to find out what it is. I do not think it has to do with the picture you used because it would say something like "intellectual property". If it was for foofoo items then it would have said "counterfeit" & "trademark violoation" (i think)
I am still learning here as well, so don't hold me to the above. But that is my recollection of my experiences. Hope it helps. Anyone feel free to correct me if they know better.

Go to the stove. Turn on a top element. Let it get HOT. Turn it off.

Count to 10. Put your hand on the top element. Feel the burning pain?

Apply this to your account.

Relist these items on your account and be prepared to lose it.

Account is marked.

Avoid relisting.

Avoid relisting a gray import especially in the UK.

Such is the nature of VeRo.

Usually we suggest 90 days cooling off. ebay will use it against you even because you listed a gray import.

:peace:

Definitely not. Look at it as if your account is watched by ebay. If you want to sell this item again, which I presume is vero, I'd recommend starting a new stealth account and building up good feedback before selling the same item again.

I had the M999 listing thing and I relisted it and next day I got all my listing taken down and 30 day restriction, 2 days late indefinitely restricted.

Yeah I am new so i don't know just joined the forums, going to try stealth.

Re: MC999 Listing policy violation alert -

I had an MC999 violation warning on the 18th Jan. I relisted straight away as the violation didnt make any sense to me as what i was selling didnt seem to be vero. Anyway, the item got taken down and another MC999 on the 21st. So i had 2 in 3 days and havent yet been suspended. I dont know why.

Now i dont want to risk this again, so i am going to start a totally new stealth account. I just hope i can manage it as it sounds tricky!
