How long till account suspension lifted?
 

Hi All,
Received a limit on my old account 2 months ago because I stupidly phoned eBay requesting higher limits. They requested I send in documents - utility, id and proof of purchase. At first I freaked out about this being a stealth account, but have managed to do my documents and send them in. The only thing I'm confused about is, I buy things at flea markets, auctions etc and I don't get an invoice for proof of purchase? What should I do here????

Also, any idea how long it takes before they lift the restriction on my account?

There's no guarantee they will lift restriction even if all info they requested is sent in, and what types of flea market items do you purchase if your selling thousands a month steadily and new items or electronics flea markets will not cut it, but it takes sometimes a month of you calling in everyday and faxing and relaxing, if u don't keep on eBay those faxes drift into a pile and that month will turn into a year sometimes

If no reply to your documents after 3-5 days, no choice but to call and explain

I phoned them half an hour ago and they have received my documents, all accepted, restrictions lifted and raised my selling allowances to 3000. Happy days :)

well done, normally these processes are very stressful but happy days when it gets sorted
