Cannot log in to sell or edit item
 

Hi,
I have problem to log in to sell or edit item on ebay uk. Everytime I hit the "sign in" button it looks like it is loading the page but always the same "sign in" page appears. Does this mean I am suspended? I have not received any message from ebay about suspension. Any message at all. I can log in to ebay it just doesnt allow me to log in to sell.

I have some reasons to think my accounts are about to be completely suspended. The reasons are:
- I set up ebay and paypal accounts while living in the UK in 2009 but temporarily left UK about less than year ago and now I am in Slovakia from where I started selling about half a year ago without any problems (till now).Even address verification with paypal went throughdespite I was in Slovakia.

-I am selling virtual stuff but thats not a problem as ebay allows what I am selling. (I am 100% sure). The problem could be I wasnt selling for about 3 weeks but on Sunday I sold too many items in two hours as my price was lower comparing to competitors. (this was first time I sold anything on ebay since upgrading to business account which I had to do about two weeks ago)

Can anybody explain what might that mean for me please? Shall I wait few more days and see what will happen or shall I contact ebay to ask them about it asap? Is better to call them or chat or email would be enough? Slovak IP will probably not help while chatting with them. Or it doesnt matter now as I was using this IP for more than half year?

When you do a search for your username via advanced search option on eB does it still come up? Not 'Not registered'?

There is another post where someone is having similar problem on eB UK...perhaps this is a temporary glitch.

What browser are you using? Have you a different one?

No, this is a glitch.

The OP means, when he has a listing already on eBay he clicks 'Revise' and then it asks him to sign in to change it. When you click on Sign In the page loops and goes back to the sign in so you cannot edit the listing.

It is seriously just a bug and nothing more :) give it some time it will clear.

It's a bug of some sort. I have this same thing on 2 stealths.

Also, am getting something similar on PP. Withdrawals are 'looping'. Not all accounts. Just two. But still a pain!!!

Moral of the story? Patience is a virtue........ :p

Thanks to all. It was the glitch/loop. I restarted my laptop and its ok now. Anyway do you recommend to me to try to get vps and use uk ip address or you think its ok as I am using this slovak ip for about half a year without any issues (at least I hope so) (is it possible my account has already been flagged with suspicious activity)? I recently had to upgrade to business account so having uk based company and selling from Slovakia might be bit weird...I think. Any suggestions? (do you think they know but let me sell because I still use the same laptop as when I was only buying while in the uk? or I am just lucky till now and better should get vps?) Thank you

Bloody annoying! Must say I haven't had this for a while....saying that it'll happen tomorrow morning now I've said that!
