Possible Linked Account!
 

Ive just set up a brand new account and I thought I would phone ebay to ask what my selling limits are on my new account, but when they asked me my name I gave them my real name without thinking! and they might link that to an old account of mine. What should I do, use my new account or leave it?

I would go with a brand new one and I would not call Ebay for any reason.

Why would you ring to ask them that? Not ringing them is very basic stuff.

You can see your limits in eBay.

I would spend a few days read the forum

Hahahahahaha that's brilliantly funny. Sorry lol! I would do exactly the same thing in that situation. Your face afterwards must have been priceless.

There is a chance that they just didn't think anything of it, and took another call. They don't really have much time to deal with that kind of thing. I doubt they have vocal recognition technology to link accounts, it would likely have to be raised by the person at the other end of the phone. They might have just thought you got cut off. However. If you are in doubt. Just start again.
