Ebay selling suspension
 

This is all going to sound very noob which I suppose it is but please bear with me.

I have a 10 year old ebay account with a high (2500+) 100% feedback rating. I have a Paypal premier account with no limits (that I know of but then I've never looked into it). Most of my ebay feedback is from selling.

I then was selling a couple of gold plated iphone cases and for some reason ebay took it upon themselves to say they were counterfeit and they suspended my selling account indefinitely. I can still use it to buy. My Paypal account hasn't been affected.

I've had phone a conversation with them but have got nowhere. I've read ebay stealth but before I either set up another account or buy a ready made one (preferred option as its simpler) is there absolutely no way I can resurrect my selling account on ebay ?

Any help/suggestions would be gratefully received.

It sounds to me like your not going to be able to sell on that account again. eBay are pretty stubborn when it comes to overturning restrictions.

Your going to need a new eBay and a new PayPal.

Ebay do sometimes overturn restrictions but it is not often.

Your account is also then under the microscope, alot of stories from people who had their account reinstated end by getting banned again. Me included.

You may aswell go stealth.

Thanks. After reading a number of other, similar threads, it seems I've been suspended from selling in similar ways to many others.
I suppose they're a big organisation and have to have rules but sometimes they fall foul of their own strict boundaries.
Hey, ho, stealth here we come. What a pain in the neck.

Well, well, well, I just got an email from ebay to tell me that after reconsideration they've decided to reinstate my selling account.
So it seems they can reverse their decisions. Yippeee

Very good result.

Still worth baring in mind that they can chance their mind in the future still.
