MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN RESTRICTED DUE TO EBAY LINKING MY ACCOUNT TO MY SONS WHICH IS SUSPENDED, THEY'VE LINKED MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE I USED MY LAPTOP AT HIS MOTHERS AND USED THEIR WI-FI....:tears:

MY LISTINGS ARE STILL ACTIVE, BUT SELLING ALLOWANCES ARE ZERO..

WHAT I NEED HELP WITH IS, WHEN YOU REPLY TO THE MESSAGE YOU ARE SENT BY EBAY TELLING YOUR ACCOUNT IS RESTRICTED, YOU HAVE TO RESPOND BY SAYING

A. THE ACCOUNT IS MINE
B. THE ACCOUNT IS NOT MINE, BUT I MIGHT KNOW WHERE THE LINK COMES FROM OR,
C. I DONT KNOW THIS ACCOUNT

WHAT WOULD BE MY BEST OPTION?

THOUGHTS PLEASE

THANKS IN ADVANCE

PS. MY ACCOUNT IS REGISTERED AT MY HOME ADDRESS. NOT MY SONS

The exact same thing happened on my original account, despite the fact that both of us denied strongly that we had anything to do with the other's account, we were both suspended permanently, they simply were not interested in any form of denials. My account was registered to my home address as well, knew nothing about stealth or the ways that eBay/PayPal catch people out back then.

Your best way forward will be to learn stealth ways and move forward by reading around this forum and learning from all the experiences.

That's a shame.

This is curse that kick me off eBay.

Nothing can be done now. You just have to go the stealth way.

so i should deny all knowledge of his account or say i know where the link comes from?????

My account is restricted, but not indefinitely like some people are saying on this site, i just have a selling restriction until i verify if i know this other account, or dont as the case maybe.

If they suspend my account after i speak to them, then que sera sera.... I will have to buy ebay stealth guide and go from there...

Well I would say give that option a go it may work work for you, and if it doesn't you have stealth accounts as well, in fact even if they do accept your explanation it is wise to make or buy stealth accounts rawroyal.

I was not even a big seller. I was selling few unwanted items.
I only got into business with Stealth
But eBay wouldn't care less.

rawroyal74. Give it a go. If the accounts have very different activity, then it worth a try.

You just never know until you try.

Horrible place to be in. But be strong and fight for it.

I use my account on mobile last many year due to soke reason im suspended
I suspened I have another new account with all new information n seprat address etc i mean everything is totally new even with new ip address
my question is can I log to my new account with same mobile I was suspended with my other account I will use different ip or do I ned to change my mobile set .wanted to know they will detect me with using same mobile no matter if all info is all new n changed no link with previous account
or its ok if I will log in to same mobile becz my evry thing is change and ip is new ...or do i ned to log in to diffrent mobile set for safty .plz help

You can wipe you phone so that nothing remains such as cookies from your use of the it on your old suspended account, so long as you create a new user profile, are you planning to access this new account just from your mobile phone or do you have access to a laptop ?

No you cannot use your phone.
Especially if you use the ebay app.

Every phone has a IMEI number on it along with other phone info and this will get you linked and closed again if you use it.

So many people have been linked with this.

@rawroyal74, first recommendation is to turn off caps lock.

None of your options are really that good - you are most likely doomed on this account. Learn stealth - best of luck.

Definitely linkable by phone for sure..
Very unlikely via imei.
Can factory reset and change simcard should be ok.
Their are ways to change viewable imei on some phones.

Or if can I use the same phone but all factory reset also with new sim new ip etc would be work ???
If I factory reset will evry thing erase ? Or they will also linked with the same mobile ime number ? BecZ matter what u do the ime will be same .plz help in detail I don't want any risk

you are not under eBay sellers protection anymore
if buyers open a case against you
they will take their money back without send back the item to you...

end your list ASAP....


they look the IP and everything is over...

You are suspended because you do not know what you are doing.

Why is your flag UK?

Your IP is from BANGLADESH. If you are in that country, even for holiday, your flag is to be Bangladesh.

If you are not working correctly, then you will be suspended.

You simply do not know what you are doing.

I suggested to you NOT to use the ebay app.

But you are.

Get rid of that ebay app. The way you are working will never last.
