will accessing a friends ebay from my address get them banned?

i have new IP

their addres is miles away.

A new IP is good, but remember the user name is a good way to.

Hi,

basically. I say friend, more like relative!

They have set up a proper legit new ebay account on their address which is down south and its a proper business account with proper business paypal.


My address which is in the north, i used to have some personal ebay account which was suspended years back.

Since then obviously, i've changed my internet provider numerous times, so my current IP is new and will have nothing to do with anything of those old accounts.

Is there anything to stop me from logging into my friends ebay account from my address in the north and using a fresh laptop or computer?

Would that bring a flag up on ebay's system?

A brand new IP should not cause any issue even if is up north but... a fresh computer with no history, cookies whatsoever could rise serious concerns.

Logging to do what?

logging in to list stuff for them and help them sell stuff!

so basically what you are saying is that, its illegal to use someone elses computer to log into your ebay account at a different location?

what kind of messed up system is that?

...well I did not say it is "illegal" I am saying eBay could be suspicious and put the account on hold... then call the associated phone or ask for IDs to verify who is doing what.. the usual stuff.

well my friend will be in the north on the weekend, so i could possibly try it then if they do indeed ring and ask for verification.

You can access the computer down south from up north ?

Teamviewer is good in situation like this.

Agreed, Teamviewer offers a remote control option as well.
