Will paying the fees sort the problem?
 

Very quickly:

Stealth account, 100% positive FB. Good account.

Fees (not a crazy amount) haven't been paid due to some bereavement issues and the financial impact that has had on my bank account.

Been suspended due to non-payment and has now been passed to a debt agency who have been trying to get in touch.

Would paying the fees solve all this and get the account back? Is it that simple? Or has the involvement of the debt agency complicated things?

Usually when the debt has been passed off than it may be too late, but I would first contact eBay and just ask them how it works

I have had an account closed this way, i paid the fees and it was re-opened as i had no other suspensions on the account.

I don't know about ebay but I had this with a phone contract, paid it within a couple of weeks and my credit ratings still smashed 2 years later

you know you can send proof of payment to the credit agencies to prove you paid the debt off and you can also contact the phone company and tell them to report that you paid off your account.
