uploading pics on to stealth ebay account
 

hi can any one let me no if its ok to take pics on a new sd card on my phone and upload to new stealth account i use my camera for my old ebay account is it ok to do this on the same laptop with out linking accounts

Use a program to remove the EXIF data

Yes batch purifier has just cleaned my pics for me now that i have finally got it working on my laptop, it does the job perfectly. You will be surprised how much metadata is lurking on your pics ukjay, a metedata remover such as batch purifier will remove the nasties.

If your using new pictures and only then using those ones on a single ebay new profile account then there wont be any metadata on them.. Its only if you are using the same pictures accross different stealth accounts.. unless I'm missing something here?

Metadata will be on the picture.

Its just best to clean out the Metadata to prevent linking though camera model (which may well not happen, but why risk it?)

if I use photoshop to change prev pic(Resize,colour bla bla), will metadata change/clean?

You will most the time have Photoshop added into the metadata.

Just use a cleaner to be sure.

Recently I had a message from batch purifier saying need to download full batch purifier if cleaning JPEG pics to ensure they are fully cleaned up. The lite version apparently may not do the job completely.

Usually the free version of this software cleans unlimits JPEG images. Any other format you would need to upgrade.

Does anyone know how to install this software for all users on Windows - I seem to have to reinstall it after making a new user account :(

I use gimp for my pictures and upload them and list with auctiva.

Can the exif data be seen on pictures stored on auctivea please ?

If they are hosted via Auctivea when eBay will not have access to them as they are different companies. Rule of thumb that I follow though is if your in doubt, do it anyway.

I always use jstrip on windows, as it is free, easy to use and does what it says on the tin.
