How can I use a laptop with a mobile connection.

Do I have to buy a mobile phone + a usb connection.

Hi, I got a "3" mobile broadband dongle for use when away from home prior to being suspended. Its easy to use, just plug it into a free usb port on your laptop and it will set itself up, it has the installation files already in it. You don't need a mobile phone as the "mobile broadband sim card " that you receive with your dongle fits inside the dongle itself. Once set up, whenever you want to use your broadband, just plug the dongle in and away you go. Check that you have coverage in your area though as not all areas are covered. I think most are now but you can check on their website. Also you'll get the price details. If you already a 3 customer with your mobile phone then you get the broadband package for half price.
