How long do you get with a Below Standard account?
 

Hi,

basically due to a bad batch of an item, my defect percentage has gone above 5% and I've calculated that I need to sell about 50 or so items to get below 5% and I'm slowly creeping towards that but I've been below standard for about 3 months now, how long do I have left before ebay decide to suspend my account?

Oh every account is totally different.

I lost one of my accounts after 3 weeks of being over 5% yet I have another account that went above 5% 10 months ago and for first 5 months I tried to salvage it, but now its just sat there for past 5 months and I checked it yesterday and its still fine. Another 2 months and few of the defects will expire so I might use the account over Christmas again if I need to.

I think it all depends on how much feedback and sales you make this increases you level once reviewed every month I think because it happened to me along time ago

Seems to stay forever with me, I just move on to another acct.

The every account is unique.
There no such answer when exactly it will happen..
