Address issue
 

HI,
example:
I live with some housemates at the same address.
One of them has got his ebay account suspended.
Do you think is possible to open an Ebay account using the same address but in my name?
The reason of this question is because I do not understand why my account should be effected my someone else problem with ebay.

And if you buy a new house and the previous onwer was suspended.
What if you open a new Ebay account at this address?

I agree, its not fair, seen on the US forum this happens alot with families and flatmates, have you actually been suspended, do you use same PC.
Cant really help unless have full details. Same address and different names isnt necessarily a problem..

Use a laptop with 3 mobile connection usb.
Brand new Paypal address nad bank account.
I can buy a new geografical telephone numbr if I have to forwarding call the the landline one.

it is a good question.
The reason on my question is that I found out that in the 2006 I opened a ebay account with my mun details and it is still on. But at the same time i have and old account suspended at the same address of my mum but with different name. This was suspended in 2006.
Now I am considering to reuse the same address with different name by changing ip address on my cable connection or using my laptop with 3 mobile and usually I use at work.
Sorry for the ammount of my questions but after reading the stealth book I still have some concerns. This is the reason of my question.
And, by the way, yes we are all friends here and for me it is very important your help.

ok so you ae not suspended, and you use your own laptop that nobody else shares and you happen to have same address but different name to suspended user, Im not 100% but I wouldnt worry about it, unless you sell exact same products. Its an old 2006 account right? likely to be fairly tough.
By all means set up a completely unique and clean account for yourself on a different Ip, all ebayer however legit should have a fall-back for when ebay tries to shaft you.
